Tues March 11

We're headed to the museum today! But make sure you're not at the one downtown, we'll be at the Alaska Museum of Natural History on 201 N. Bragaw. For directions, look at their website here. We'll be there for Tinker Time, which runs from 10 to 12 noon.

This evening is our Fellowship Time at Tami's house. The festivities begin at 8 PM! Hopefully my kids will be in bed by then, otherwise I guess Dave will be doing bedtime. =)

Tuesday January 22

Hello Girls! I hope everyone can join us on Tuesday at The Haven, Chapel's newest property. We'll be meeting at 10:00 am to discuss the direction of our group - new ideas for outings, activities, ways to keep each other accountable, getting to know one another better, and Bible Study. Please bring something to keep your kiddos busy and all your ideas. If you feel like baking or stopping by the grocery, bring something yummy to snack on. Coffee & Tea will be provided. See you there!

Tues January 8

Christmas is over. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Now life is back to a normal schedule, including Mom's Group. This week is a 2nd Tuesday, which means Fellowship Time. How about we let our little ones play in the Fellowship Hall (I know mine are a bit stir crazy from being indoors during this cold snap) and we just visit together? I'll bring a snack to share, you are welcome to do likewise. I'll have a sign up for leading/snacks/fellowship for the next few months. Next week, January 15, is the beginning of our Colossians study. It's in the same book as the Philippians study, so don't worry about needing to purchase another book. We still need 2 people to help with childcare, so go ahead and recruite! Even if you find someone that can only come once or twice, that would be great. And remember, there is monetary compensation plus a reward in heaven. =) Contact me if you have any questions, and Rachel too (she gets back on January 10th).

Playtime on Tuesday

Mommies, this Tuesday November 13 we get to play at Arctic Oasis! Marci is sponsoring us to get on the base, so meet at the Elmendorf Boniface gate at 10:30 AM. You will need your driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. Bring a sack lunch or you can buy lunch at the cafe there (pizza, hot dogs, burgers. etc). The next Tuesday we'll be back in the Fellowship Hall working on Week 4 of the Philippians study.

Jochabed (Anna) and Noah (Elijah) at Awana Bible Heroes Night.

Fun fun fun

but probably not in the sun.... Okay, yes I have little ones and sound too much like Dr. Seuss. The next two Tuesdays have FUN built right in them. This week, Tuesday October 23, we'll be at Rachel's house for fellowship (that's mean yakking and kids playing and snacks, always yummy ones too). The next week, October 30, is Craft Day in the Fellowship Hall. I talked to the babysitters about coming and watching kiddos, so the moms will have free hands and minds to work on crafts. I'll be bringing my sewing machine, others will probably bring scrapbooking/cardmaking/etc, though just sitting and drinking a hot beverage and visiting is just as welcome if you're not feeling particularly crafty. =)

For October 9

Since we all have little ones and husbands, I thought it would be helpful to learn about haircutting. Chris S. will come and give a demonstration with my little guy and possibly other volunteers. We're meeting in the Fellowship Hall at 10 AM. If you'd like to bring a snack, that would be great! Thanks for the great study and discussion today, and thanks to Nancy for starting us out right. =) October 16 is our next study meeting, so work on Week 2 of the Philippians study. If anyone is reading this that would like to join, it's not too late! Just send me an email and we'll get you a book.
